Do you need Opinions on Compliance for work done to your house or business?

Opinions on Compliance are typically required when a house is being sold or refinanced. Commercial developments will typically require Opinions upon the project completion.

Our Opinions are the standard RIAI Opinions on Compliance and are signed by a registered and insured architect. They demonstrate that the work is compliant with the planning and building regulations.

There are two typical Opinions; one to demonstrate compliance with, or exemption from, the planning regulations and one to demonstrate compliance with building regulations.

Typical work which require Opinions on Compliance:

• Domestic extensions / developments.

• Change-of-use

• Porches.

• Dormer windows.

• Widening of existing vehicular entrance.

• Garages / garden rooms.

• Brick/render facade alterations.
